How many problems that we face would fly away?

Is it just me…or doesn’t it seem like we have somehow lost our souls…or forgotten who we are

How would it be if we could all agree we’re in this world together

Does anyone see what I see, or is it just me?

Hey I have a plan…let’s add up all the hours we’ve spent on rhetoric and reason;

‘cause we debate a great deal.

Then let’s pass a law, and mandate we match each hour of talk with two hours of service

And let’s see who’s for real

If everyone set their minds to listen more each day

How many careless words would finally fade away

Is it just me…or doesn’t it seem like we have heard it all before …can we give our ears a rest?

How would it be if we could greet each day with quiet hearts and calloused hands

Does anyone see what I see, or is it just me?

It might take some time;

yeah, it takes more than a minute to turn and learn a new way

But just a step starts a journey, so why don’t we begin it today?
